- Storage batteries are used in a variety of applications, including personal computers and emergency power supplies. Lithium-ion batteries, which represent currently the predominant storage battery system, have risks, for example, of smoke generation due to using liquid electrolyte, and their performance is approaching their limit. We are therefore conducting research into a high-capacity storage battery system with a high level of safety.
